Nature Recovers its Place

Oil and pencil on black and white photo- grisaille. My painting style is a constant dialogue between the city and nature. In my works, the urban landscapes of Madrid are not shown in their usual form; they are surrounded and transformed by an exuberant nature that seems to reclaim its space. Iconic buildings, streets, and squares that many recognize are immersed in a lush, green environment, as if nature had begun to take back what once belonged to it.
