Iconic buildings, streets, and squares that many recognize are immersed in a lush, green environment, as if nature had begun to take back what once belonged to it.

A groundbreaking photograph served as the basis for this painting, in which the world is turned upside down. Light turns into shadow, shadow glows into light, and colors transform into their complementary tones, creating a sense of pure magic. This image is the result of inverting a positive into a negative and then applying oil paint by hand, as always.
